Secure access and private services
Some services are public-facing for approved users, while internal tools remain private.
Public vs private services
Some CamCore services are public-facing for authorised users, while others only work when connected securely.
- Public-facing services may include Plex, Requests, Status, and the CamCore website.

Common troubleshooting
Quick answers for common CamCore access and playback issues.
Plex is buffering or loading slowly
Check that your Plex quality is set to Original or Maximum, turn off Automatically Adjust Quality, and make sure your internet connection is stable. Restarting the Plex app can also help.
I cannot see the Cameron-Media server
Make sure you are signed in with the Plex account that was invited. If you changed Plex accounts, the server may not appear until access is granted to the new account.
My request has not appeared yet
Requests may take time to approve, download, process, and scan into Plex. Some requests may also be rejected if they do not meet CamCore rules or are not suitable.
A private CamCore page will not load
Private services may only work from the local CamCore network or through secure access. Make sure your secure access connection is active.
I forgot which account to use
Use the account that was originally approved or invited. If you are unsure, contact the CamCore administrator.
I see a security or privacy warning
Do not ignore warnings if you are unsure. Stop and contact the CamCore administrator before entering passwords, payment details, or sensitive information.
Getting support
The more detail you include, the easier it is to fix the problem.
What to include when asking for help
To make support easier, include as much useful information as possible.
- Which service is not working.
- What device you are using.
- Whether you are at home, remote, or using secure access.
- A screenshot of the error if possible.
- The approximate time the issue started.
Example support message
“Hi, Plex is buffering on my Samsung TV. I am signed into my approved account, using home Wi-Fi, and the issue started around 7:30pm. Other apps seem to be working.”
For urgent outages, check the CamCore Status page first. If there is already an active incident, the issue is likely already being worked on.
Account safety
Keep your account secure and only use access that has been approved for you.
Keep your account secure
- Do not share your login details.
- Use a strong and unique password.
- Enable multi-factor authentication where available.
- Report any suspicious activity.
Access may be removed
CamCore access may be removed if an account is shared, misused, inactive, or used in a way that affects service reliability or security.
CamCore services are private family and authorised-user services. This website does not provide public registration, public streaming access, or open access to internal systems.
