CamCore IT Services

How we work. What to expect.

What happens before, during and after CamCore works on your devices or accounts, and what you can do if something is not right.

01

Before we start

We confirm what you want done and your authority to have it done. That means you own the device or account, or the owner has authorised you, and you are 18 or over.

02

Your data

Before any work that could affect your files, we check that a backup exists or offer to make one. Failing storage can lose data even when work is careful.

03

Remote sessions

Remote sessions use a CamCore-approved remote support tool. You can see when a session is active and you can end it at any time.

04

Passwords

CamCore will never ask for a password, one-time code or recovery code by email, on paper or on a form. If one is needed during a session, you type it yourself.

05

Prices

Work is charged at the rates on Pricing on the day, or at a written quote. We ask before exceeding a quote or estimate. Nothing is billed without your agreement.

06

Devices left with CamCore

A device you leave with CamCore is recorded on a custody receipt and stored securely.

Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.

The repair of goods capable of retaining user-generated data may result in the loss of the data.

07

Uncollected devices

Uncollected devices are handled under Part 4.2 of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic). We contact you in writing before any step to dispose of them, and storage devices are never sold or reused.

08

Your rights

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

09

Complaints

Contact help@camcore.au or write to PO Box 385, Rye VIC 3941. We acknowledge a complaint within two business days and aim to give you a written answer within ten business days.

Unresolved complaints can go to Consumer Affairs Victoria, or to the Victorian Small Business Commission for business disputes.
