CamCore policy

Cameron-Media Rules.
Know the boundary.

Cameron-Media is an invitation-only service for approved users, designed around reliable 1080p Direct Play, sensible requests and fair use of shared capacity.

01

Access and account review

Use only your own approved Plex account. Do not share invitations, credentials or sessions, and do not provide library access to another person. Access is intended for approved users in Australia and New Zealand unless CamCore grants a specific exception.

Shared, insecure or no-longer-required access may be removed. Unused access is reviewed when either of these applies:

  • Inactive: nothing has been watched for 60 days or more.
  • Never used: access has existed for at least 14 days and nothing has ever been watched.

A review starts with an email notice. If nothing is watched and there is no reply within seven days, a second email starts a seven-day grace period, with a reminder the day before it ends. Watching something or replying to the email ends the review. Removal is never automatic: when the grace period ends, a person checks for viewing or a reply before deciding. Only the Cameron-Media library share is removed; your own Plex account is not changed.

02

Playback quality

Cameron-Media is built primarily for 1080p Direct Play. Set home and remote video quality to Original or Maximum, disable automatic quality reduction where practical, and use a supported Plex app with a stable connection.

Avoid routine video transcoding. Supported audio, subtitle or client-compatibility conversion may occur where necessary. Streams causing avoidable or excessive resource use may be stopped while the device or settings are reviewed.

03

Media requests

Submit movies and television through Cameron-Media Requests. Search before requesting and submit only content you genuinely intend to use.

Every request remains subject to review. Approval and delivery time are not guaranteed; availability, release status, quality, storage, suitability, duplication and the configured service scope may affect the outcome. Use Support—not the request portal—for faults and access problems.

04

Content scope

Cameron-Media primarily provides movies, television and approved live television. Adult content is not accepted. Content that is unlawful, unsafe, outside the service scope or inappropriate for this private service may be declined or removed.

05

Retention and cleanup

Retention rules apply to titles added through Cameron-Media Requests. A requested title becomes eligible for removal when either of these applies:

  • Watched, then stale: everyone who requested it has finished watching it, and nothing further has been watched for 14 days.
  • Never watched: the title was added at least 45 days ago and nobody has watched it.

A television series is removed only after it has ended. A series that is still airing is not removed by these rules.

An eligible title shows as Leaving Soon for 30 days before removal. Storage pressure, demand and operational needs may still change the timing; library availability is not permanent.

Titles CamCore adds without a request, and content it deliberately retains, are not removed by these rules.

06

Fair use

  • Do not leave streams running unattended.
  • Do not repeatedly restart failed playback without checking settings or seeking help.
  • Do not download, copy or redistribute library content through unauthorised methods.
  • Do not attempt to bypass playback, geographic, stream or request controls.
  • Respect maintenance, incident and service guidance.
07

Problems and enforcement

Check CamCore Status first. For playback, access, subtitle, audio or missing-episode problems, use CamCore Support and include the title, device, approximate time and visible error.

Playback or access may be limited when sharing, repeated avoidable transcoding, policy breaches or unsafe activity affects the service.
