Photos and messages stay locked
If nothing is set up: families generally need a court order.
The free fix: an Apple Legacy Contact, set up in your phone’s settings.
CamCore Digital Legacy
Apple, Google and Facebook each have a free tool that lets someone you trust reach your photos, email and accounts after you die. Almost nobody sets them up. We’ll show you how, step by step, in a relaxed online session — and you do every step yourself.
Why it matters
Most families only find out after a death. By then, it’s often too late to do anything about it.
If nothing is set up: families generally need a court order.
The free fix: an Apple Legacy Contact, set up in your phone’s settings.
If nothing is set up: an account unused for 2 years can be permanently deleted.
The free fix: Google’s Inactive Account Manager.
If nothing is set up: Microsoft has no equivalent free tool.
The free fix: a second copy of photos and a written record of your wishes.
If nothing is set up: the profile stays live until a family member requests a memorial.
The free fix: a Facebook legacy contact, or a deletion request set in advance.
If nothing is set up: passwords are lost with no recovery path.
The free fix: a password manager’s emergency access, or a sealed list with your will.
How it works
Nobody ever asks you for a password. You type every one yourself, on your own device.
Choose a session and pay securely on this page. We never take payment over the phone.
A confirmation email arrives straight away with your workbook and the session link.
Click the link in your email. On a computer it opens in your browser; on a phone or tablet you may be asked to install the free Teams app first. You never need a Microsoft account. A family member is welcome to join too.
We show each step on our phone; you copy it on yours. Nobody sees your password — including us.

Who you’ll be talking to
I’m a systems administrator from Frankston, Victoria. My day job is keeping computer systems secure. I started CamCore Digital Legacy because families are so often locked out of a loved one’s photos and accounts — when five minutes of setup would have prevented it. Every session is run by me, and I’ll always go at your pace.
Not sure yet?
No pressure and no sales pitch — just a plain-English look at what happens to your photos and accounts, and what the free tools can do about it.
Questions
No. We go one small step at a time and nobody gets left behind. If you can open an email and tap an app, you can do this. A family member is welcome to help.
Never. You type every password yourself on your own device. In group sessions, only we share a screen. We will never ask for a password, a code, or to control your device.
A computer, tablet or phone with internet, your own phone for the steps, and your Apple or Google password handy. You join by clicking the link in your email. On a computer that opens in your browser; on a phone or tablet you may be asked to install the free Teams app first. No Microsoft account is needed either way.
It isn’t legal advice, and yes — you still need a will. We cover the digital side: the tools that let your chosen people reach your accounts. Your lawyer covers the rest.
Book an Android night. Android phones use a Google account, so we set up Google’s Inactive Account Manager together.
Our After-a-Death session explains each company’s process, helps you lodge requests, and covers the free Australian Death Notification Service for banks and utilities. We’re honest: without advance setup, some companies need a court order, and we can’t promise access.
Cancel 48 hours or more before for a full refund, or move to another date. Less than 48 hours: move once, free. You can also give your seat to a family member.
No. We never call anyone first. Hang up, and if you’re worried, contact Scamwatch or someone you trust.
