An expired domain isn’t lost straight away. Check where yours is up to, then renew or restore it before the registry deletes it.

How it works
On the expiry date the domain stops working: its website and email go offline. Nothing else is lost yet.
For about 30 days the domain can be renewed at its normal price, and everything comes back as it was. Most .com, .net and .org domains have one, and a .au domain can be renewed for about 30 days after it expires.
For about 30 days more, a .com, .net or .org domain can be restored, for a recovery fee on top of the renewal: $131.96 for .com, $133.65 for .net and $133.99 for .org. For other endings CamCore Support confirms the fee before you agree to it.
A .au domain has no redemption period and no recovery fee.
After a few more days the registry deletes the domain and releases it, and anyone can register it, sometimes within seconds.
These are typical times. Each registry sets its own, so check yours with the lookup above as soon as you notice.
Get it back
Sign in to My CamCore and open Billing & Domains. An expired domain shows Renew, or Restore in its redemption period, with the price. Pay at checkout and CamCore renews or restores it with the registry; you get an email when it is done.
Contact them straight away: only the registrar it is with can renew or restore it. An expired domain can’t be transferred until it is renewed, so move it to CamCore afterwards.
Search for it on CamCore Domains. If no one has taken it, register it again. If someone has, the WHOIS lookup shows who it is with now.
Turn on auto-renew, keep a card on file and keep the domain’s contact email current, so renewal notices reach you.
