01Scope and principles
This policy explains how CamCore handles information across its public websites, enquiries, CamCore IT Services work for customers, private services, Cameron-Media, Microsoft 365 environment, managed devices, monitoring and support channels.
CamCore is an Australian technology services business that provides secure, reliable and professionally managed IT for households and small businesses. It also operates the CamCore Network, the private family technology network for the Cameron household, Cameron-Media and associated family operations. Information is handled for service delivery and administration—not for sale, advertising profiles or data-broker activity. Public pages deliberately expose only information intended for public use.
02Information CamCore may process
The information required depends on the service used and may include:
- Name, email address, display name, account identifier and approved access level.
- Device name, platform, software version, management state and security or compliance status.
- Authentication, sign-in, access, administrative and security events.
- Cameron-Media access, playback, request and library-management information.
- Support messages, screenshots, attachments and the details supplied to diagnose an issue.
- Enquiry details sent through the contact form or by email, such as name, email address, phone number, suburb or postcode, whether the enquiry is for a home or a business, and the message itself.
- For CamCore IT Services customers, the contact, billing and quote records needed to provide and invoice the work, and the device, account and configuration details of the systems CamCore is asked to look after.
- Service health, network, error and diagnostic logs, including timestamps and source information where needed for security or troubleshooting.
CamCore does not intentionally request information unrelated to operating, securing or supporting its services.
03How information is used
Information may be used to approve and administer access, authenticate users, operate and improve services, respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, provide and invoice CamCore IT Services, respond to support requests, investigate faults or security events, apply account and service rules, plan capacity, maintain audit records and protect users, systems and data.
Automated monitoring may generate alerts or operational records when a service, device or account requires attention.
04Monitoring and service logs
CamCore services may record sign-ins, service access, playback, requests, device health, configuration changes and administrative activity. Monitoring is limited to legitimate reliability, troubleshooting, capacity, security and fair-use purposes.
Users should not expect activity inside an approved CamCore service to be anonymous from the administrator responsible for operating that service.
05Access and service providers
Information is available only to the CamCore administrator and approved service providers where required to deliver the relevant function. Connected platforms—such as identity, media, status and support providers—may process information under their own terms when those services are used. Enquiries are received through the CamCore support system at support.camcore.au.
CamCore does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to respond to a serious security, safety or service-integrity issue.
06Retention and protection
Information is retained only while it remains useful for account administration, service operation, security, support, backup, recovery or necessary record keeping. Retention periods differ by system and data type, and limited copies may remain in logs or backups after an active record is removed.
CamCore uses access controls, managed identities, multi-factor authentication, encryption where supported, monitoring, updates and backups to reduce risk. No system can promise absolute security, so suspected exposure must be reported promptly.
07Questions, access and corrections
Use CamCore Support or email [email protected] to ask what information is held, request a correction, raise a privacy concern or ask for information associated with a retired account to be reviewed.
Never send passwords, authentication codes, recovery keys, API keys or unnecessary identity documents through a support request.
